Yeah, I know it’s been 2018 for a week now. A little late to be wishing people a Happy New Year. But when your daughter doesn’t return to school until the second week in January, you’re having too much fun with her to be prompt about blog posts.
So Happy New Year! 😉
I have big things on my plate this year. One of the biggest will be here in July. July 25th to be exact. That is when my new book, A Perfect Weakness, will be released. I am so excited to share this story with you. It’s set in Victorian England and for right now I’ll just give you the tagline to whet your appetite:
“No one is beyond redemption.”
So stay tuned for more about that later in the year. I’ll be doing guest blogging, giveaways etc. as the release date approaches.
The last thing I want to share is my word for the year. I’ve done resolutions in the past and I won’t knock anyone who wants to do that but personally I’ve found having a word to focus on is much easier the older I get. So here it is:
It’s a funny thing, trust. Early on in my adult life I thought I had the Trusting God Thing down pat. But God always wants to take you deeper into Trust to where it is, as the worship song goes, ‘without borders’. A concept I find both exhilirating and terrifying.
So do you have a word for the year or a resolution? I’m happy to hear about both.
